Does Soya milk go off?

Last night I hit Morrisons just right and got 7 litres of soya milk (alpro organic stuff) for 19p each. They have a best before date on them, but also say 'keep refrigerated'. Does anyone know if it will go off if I don't keep them in the fridge (unopened, obviously). I can't see how they're different from normal soya milk that you can keep on a shelf but I don't want to spoil and waste them!

did you buy them from the fridge section in the tall, narrow carton as opposed to a more rectangular UHT type carton? there's a difference between UHT soya milk and chilled soya milk just like between UHT milk and standard milk.so yes, if it's the chilled stuff it needs to be kept in the fridge.gone off soya milk really isn't pleasant!0

The fresh stuff does go off quite quickly after the sell by date if it has been opened. If not, it should last quite a while.0

Yes, it was in the chiller cabinet. Do you think I can freeze it?0
