Yep, i have just read that so i'm sat here pondering if to buy or not.
Looking for some hardy little trees/plants for my front in containers but a twig! hmm. Plus the other reviewer mentions can't wait to put it in a patio container in late spring but has it now inside on a sill above a radiator!, so do you have to keep it inside for a bit first?.0 -

I don't think i'd pay a fiver for a twig...then again, when i was in morrisons 3 weeks ago i got 'a twig' as my OH called it (it's actually a twisted willow tree) and its got loads of leaves already so maybe an olive twig might be worth getting0 -

Yes i was probably been critical afterall they have to grow from something small just like large plants do from seeds. I suppose it's just when you have an image from pictures supplied online etc & you don't recieve what you are expecting your hopes are dashed. It's only a fiver i suppose & delivered, may be worth a gamble?:D0 -
Thanks OP, I've ordered one0

We've had an olive tree for a few years. It produces quite a lot of small olives but I treat it as a decorative tree. It takes a lot of time and effort to pickle the olives (around 6 weeks in salty water then a couple more in garlic and lemon) so that they are edible and I think mine are all stone rather than lots of juicy flesh.0
