help my finances

hi everyone,

i've just sat and added up my outgoings compared to what i earn and am afraid its not pleasant, i hav 3 credit cards, a personal loan, a credit union loan and a rather large car payment. every wk my wages go towards my debt and am lucky if i end up with £20 to go towards food, i have been managing 'ok' i suppose but i really want 2 get debt free as i have no social life at all, me and my partner cant even afford 1 night a year ever mind a month out for dinner there just isnt the money. i really dont no if i'd be better tryin to get a consolidationn loan and and make it 1 payment or if there's anything else i can do. if any1 has any advice i would b very grateful :(

Well done for adding it all up and facing things, thats the worst bit!
Can you post a SOA? its the first thing everyone will ask for so they can give you advice.

Don't go down the consolidation loan route until you have put a SOA up on here and let people have a good old go at it (in a nice way). There are plenty of people on here who have had their debt made worse by going down the consolidation route rather than tackling their overspending.

Once you have done that and got suggestions things should start to look a bit better.

A good tip that we have found if you want to spend more time with your partner for dinners etc is Tesco vouchers! If you shop at Tesco you will soon save up enough points for lets say a 10 pound voucher. This can they be exchanged online via the tesco website for 4x the amount (i.e. 40 quid) in vouchers for a resturant. The resturants to choose from include places like Cafe Rouge, Strada, pizza express and planet hollywood. You can also exchange them for things like cinema vouchers and days out. ( I sound like i work for tesco's lol). I just know that its been a godsend to us :)

Hope that may help a little :)
