Orange phone, Broadband and an xbox360

Just occured to me that a bargain is to be had with Orange on offering free broadband for tarrifs over £30 per month.
Ok, get a free or what ever phone you like with a free xbox 360. Most places are doing these on 18 month contracts.
£30 x 18 months= £540 (maximum as most will also give you like 1/2 line rental for 6 months)
Now, say broadband generally costs you £15.00 per month, so 18 x £15= £270.
Free xbox, say worth about £250.
So, £250 (xbox 360) plus £270 (for normal broadband)=£520. So, for £20 (or you may even make some money with the 1/2 line rental) over 18 months, you get a new phone and free minutes and texts.
Hope that made sence.

I phoned Orange to ask if these deals still qualify for the free broadband (rather than only if the contract is taken out specifically with Orange). The lady on customer services said most are but you need to check with the company offering the deal and that some cash back promotions would not be eligible for free broadband.
I havent got around to taking it further yet but would be interest to hear if anyone has taken a contract with cash back, xbox etc and got the free broadband.0 -
As I understand it, the free broadband is capped at 2 gigbytes per month.
Yes, TWO.
Not really worth the effort for most people.
