    If you save £5 a week on subs (ie use the other £5 to make lunches)
    then that's £60
    You said if you don't travel on the weekend then your travel is around £20
    so that's another £360
    drinks = £120
    so that in total £540. Leaving you with your £20 'misc' to spend on subs drinks or whatever as you choose.

    You could easily earn an extra £50 a week with a second job.
    So that over 12 weeks = £600

    = total over three months of £1140 by cutting out subs, drinks, weekends away and working an extra few hours. You could probably double the extra earnings too.
  • Good luck with sorting out the overdraft and paying your parents x

  • DomTom I'm not a student but I'm trying to pay off £10k of debt this year. I haven't been home since Christmas because I just haven't been able to afford too. Unfortunately sacrifices have to be made if you want to pay off the debt. I don't mean to sound harsh but there is no easy option. Good luck!
