IOU poems .....help!!!!

Well its my OH 40th in a couple of weeks and I want to make him a booklet of various IOU's. I thought it would be nice to put some instructions/poem on the front to explain but I am soooooo rubbish at this sort of thing I was hoping you lovely people would read what I have written so far and say yey or nay!!

I made this book of IOU's coz I thought you'd find it fun,
Flick through the pages to see what you can use,
Then choose them one by one.
I've left some blank for you to fill in,
In case I have missed anything.
Then hand them over and it will be my pleasure,
To make you wish come true!!

Is it way cheesy??? or should it be more instructions like;

I made this book of IOU's especially for you.
I've put in things I thought you'd like
and left some blank for you to fill in.
Have fun xx

or can anyone come up with something better, not that it would be too hard I'm sure!!

I made this book of IOUs
And sealed it with a kiss
To grant you any time you like
Your every little wish

I hope I've thought of everything
Your every want and whim
If not then simply find a page
That's blank and fill it in!

Tear one off and trade it in
I'll do as you demand
Now your big 4-0 is here
Your wish is my command!

I got the idea from here, I've seen it been mentioned a couple of times, I thought it may be quite fun for both of us!!!

Brilliant idea :T I never know what to get OH christmas or birthday. He's just had a birthday and I got him a plant trough to start his seeds off in on the window sill.........not very exciting..................book of vouchers would be a lot different :j

I've been looking for some printable IOU's this afternoon but haven't found the right ones yet, I will let you know if I find some appropriate ones.
