Am still in bed, really should get up but Pah its a holiday right ?

Actually have a list of things to do today and need to get down to the allotment, shame the weather isn't great!

Weather is rubbish here too, but the parentals are coming over today and my Dad is going to hopefully fix the heating/water. :T

I am worn out, full of cold sores, bloated, and generally feeling rather unhealthy, so starting right now, I am going to look after myself more.

I don't mean a huge diet and exercise spree, I mean an attempt to find a healthy balance between the 'eat nothing and run for miles' and the 'eat chocolate and pretend the GNR place is just a bad dream'.

And definitely no more dates for a while!

Grey, wet and miserable here but I'm not worried as I shall be working all day.:(
Must nip to Morrisons at break time for flowers for friends whi did the catering and food for the fridge. I too am going to try to eat sensibly and take more care of me.

Morning....not much to report here. Weather looks okish but nothing spectacular.

Back on the healthy eating for me too today. Loved the food and drink yesterday, but my body 'rebelled' a bit last night so I'm back to counting points today.

Had a lovely day yesterday, did a proper afternoon tea for the inlaws with piles of crustless dainty sandwichs, all manner of cakes and pasties and proper tea cups and saucers.

Going to pop to town later and see if the hairdressers is open - I need my mop taming back into place, I'd forgotton how quickly short hair needs attending to.

My old cats back legs kept giving out yesterday, he was feeling very sorry for himself and really couldn't work out if he was half way in the door or half way out....he had lots of cuddles and this morning he's prancing around chasing fluff like a kitten.....I'm sure he does it just to worry me!

Bun - have a wonderful holiday. You asked last night what a Vodka and Apple Juice was? Did you mean as a cocktail name? I can think of a rude acronym but it's far too early! :rotfl:

Off to asda in a bit to buy a hair dye and then go and see Charlie. Want to start to increase my walking a bit. I'm determined not to duck out of the Race for Life I've signed up for and whilst I know I can already walk 5k, I'm not so I want to know that when it comes around I can walk that easily.

My back is playing up a bit today but should be ok in an hour or so after the drugs kick in.
