    :T This

The thing is he is never going to be as good as DT the same as DT wasn't as good as CB, JP or TB... Or anyone else who has been the doctor. They are all different actors and they all bring something diferent to the doctor. Which is the whole point is it not when he re-gen's?

I personally like him very much, and I like Amy/Amelia too. I can't wait until next week now :D

I didn't mind it....they were setting the scene. Just hope the writing improves because RTD was overly sentimental and a bit too pro-gay (if I'm allowed to say that). I felt it was shoved down my throat a bit :rotfl:

Is it acceptable to have 3 creme eggs in one day - one of them was a meal replacement!

That'd be brilliant Linda! I want to learn to play an instrument, and drums should give me a bit of exercise at the same time. I'll probably only manage a really short bit at a time but it'll give me something to do.

    This is the kit:

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250599463872&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

To me it seems great value and just right for a beginner. I had a look in a shop in town earlier but was looking more at guitars, and this is cheaper than the cheapest one they had, and I think I'd prefer drums anyway. (Says the woman with the worst co-ordination ever!).

Ames, sorry I should have ready further, DS says its an OK kit for beginners but he thinks that this one is better and they give very good service (and cashback on quidco).

Based on the outskirts of York so quite near to you.

We were there today actually looking at acoustic kits.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

I know where that place is, I took sister to a job interview there. They had some really funky stuff, although apparantly I should have been looking at more than just the pretty colours...

I wouldn't get cashback if I collected it though, but on the other hand if I got it delivered they'd bring it right to the door which would save me some bother...

So he thinks that one's worth the extra £40 then? (Since there'd be the delivery charge). It means I can think about it a bit more too.

Thanks a lot, I'll wait for Linda's friend to get back to me about lessons and think about it. And set myself a challenge to sell enough on ebay to cover the cost.

pfft. What an evening. OH asleep snoring on the sofa after too many beers and being a bear with a sore head because his beloved Man Utd lost. Stupid Dorothy show with screeching, grinning girls on. Pfft.

I'm off to harvest my pineapples.
