Labour are the big losers in the latest poll, now below 30%,with the Lib Dems surging 4 points in the latest ICM poll following the Chancellors debate. I said it on Politicalbetting.com, the debate was going to move the polls especially given the way it was reported on the 10 o'clock news and Newsnight.
It backs up my view that Cable was head and shoulders above the other 2, Osbourne was better than expected (could hardly of been worse) and Darling was dull but steady.
Fantastic news for the Lib Dems. I am made up by this. For all the seats we may lost to the Tories I see gains from Labour in Watford, Burnley, Brent Central, Bradford East, Birmingham Hall Green and so on. Yes, I put my money where my mouth is, I am on these.

You do need to sort out your Local campaign lit ans messages. I saw Vince Fakle on monday evening saying that he was going to cut the NHS budgets (he did not use the word savage though) and today I received the Lib Dem Flyer headline "Fighting to Save the NHS."
Did not read the rest as if they can not get the headline right then what hope is there.0 -

You can save the NHS and also cut.
Theres plenty of cuts to be made in the NHS without effecting care.0 -

I agree big time.
What I am measuring the partys on this time is thier honesty. I am sick and tired of being lied to by the shower we have in power at the moment. Any party I see lying will not get my vote this time. I have to have faith that on important issues we can elect a party that has more honesty than we have been subjected to for the past 13 years.0 -

Cheltenham.
Ah, okay.
Well it is just that there is a manufactured saved Kingston hospital campaign going on at the moment. It is politics, it's a dirty game, everyone does it.
Anyway we compete with both Labour and the Tories so have a national message but also a local message designed to appeal to either Labour or Tory voters. As we have predominantly (until 2005) took seats from the Tories at the GE then our voter base is quite too the right to the activist base.
In Cheltenham, a marginal that we may lose to the Tories, we must use whatever means necessary to hold on. After all that is what the Tories will be doing. Ladbrokes have already called this for the Tories after all. 4/7 for the Tories and 5/4 for the Lib Dems."There's no such thing as Macra. Macra do not exist."
