I am in the process of starting my own make up artist business. I have thought of a business name and want to register a trademark. I have an idea of my logo. Who would I go to produce my logo, and roughly how much would it cost. If I draw it myself can I use a hand drawn logo and register it? Thanks! x
Hmmm will add up debt and stick on on later!

Hi,
of course you can draw it yourself but just stop and think....this will be on all your marketing material, website??? and you want it to look professional don't you? You can get a logo from as little as £50. I use this logo company for one of my logo's...he cost £50 and re-did it until I liked it.

thanks flo! I didn't realise it was so reasonably priced! I would only have considered drawing it if it had been mega bucks! Thanks so much!Hmmm will add up debt and stick on on later!0

PM sent to Damion about advertising and links in signatures - Damion, welcome, but if you see this before the PM, there's a link to the site rules at the top of every page!Signature removed for peace of mind0

No-one's offended, but if you edit your previous posts to remove your business name from under the Damion, no-one will feel the need to report them to the abuse team for continued advertising.

hey there!
i just checked out the degrafik link and i couldn't see their prices listed anywhere?
I'm in a similar situation - I need a logo for my website and want the most cost effective solution for the quality I require. There have been a number of threads across this forum regarding logo design but from what I've read so far, no one's really compared services, let alone mentioned any good ones they can recommend.
I know simply listing a URL circumvents alot of the forum policies, but I'd really like to read of peoples experiences and get an idea of 'real' value.
I've searched on google for custom logo design and so far these are the standout options based on my price range:
crea8ivedesign dot com
$99 for 4 concepts, unlimited revisions
thelogoloft dot com
$99 for 1 concept, 1 revision
logobench dot com
$99 for 2 concepts, 1 revision
logo-genie dot com
$89 for 2 concepts, unlimited revisions
logomonsters dot net
$49 for unlimited logos, unlimited concepts, unlimited revisions
Based on the work shown, they appear to have the skill required to create the logo I have in my head, but I put it to you, has anyone out there dealt with any of these companies or can you suggest any others? If so, can you tell me why exactly and, more to the point, explain it in a way that your message won't be banned from this forum for circumventing policies of self promotion etc.?
Thanks in advance,

I saw this link on another thread and, as a designer myself, (though sadly not very good at logos so I'm not touting for business!) I was quite impressed with some of their work. I loved the Proof Fairy logo
