I've opened a Classic+Vantage; now what?

I've got two Vantage accounts and would like another. The website prevents me opening a third saying I need to visit a branch with ID (strange that as I have two Vantage, one ISA and a eSavings - you wouldn't think they'd need ID over and above a debit card or something).I've only just found time to go in to my branch, but was able to set up the 2nd and 3rd accounts without any bother.
I could have deposited money in to them, there and then, if I'd wanted, as they were opened instantly.
Confirm all your details again - presumably they won't have changed much - and indicate you'll meet the £1,000/month funding requirement and it should go swimmingly for anyone else looking to do the same.
Did they quiz you about how you would fund the accounts - did they ask for income details for example?0 -

I suspect they just want to sell you things. Or check that you aren't laundering money or something
I had to go into a branch to open my 2nd one and they had me meet with their financial advisor to do it. To be fair, she didn't press me to do anything, but then I was very honest and told her straight away that I only wanted to open another Vantage account for the interest rate.
She might have tried harder if I'd been less direct about it, but as I pointed out that their savings accounts have lower rates, I had all the insurance I needed and I already had an ISA, she didn't really have a leg to stand on! And no, they don't ask for any details of income - I just had to confirm all my details were still the same. She didn't even look at the ID I'd brought with me.0 -
