Yeah but come on - a little common sense rqd? I'm not being funny but whats the point of posting in a a bargain forums grabbit board if you're not going to post the price?0 -
Kinda makes you wonder how safe something might be in a £6 safe.....
Just a thought.0 -
Some other food4thought...
"Fireproof" safe with keypad entry...(sounds great)
House burns down...(oh no!)
Contents are OK cus its fireproof...(yeah!)
But the heat has melted the plastic keypad...(oh no!)
So...how do you get open it??
Answers on a postcard to Tesco...

Also some of the cheap ones are just small metal boxes, surely a burglar would just take it away to break in to at his leisure? And its a giveaway where your valuables are.
Once a few years ago, I was burgled. He got all the hidden stuff, but missed my engagement ring (best thing I had) which was buried in a pile of used tissues on the bedside table. Being messy paid off that time!0 -
Use a Heinz Beans safe to put your money in ... I have!
(However, the amount of times hubby has nearly cooked them is a bit risky:D)0 -

Ah, get two safes. One that you leave in a more obvious place, filled with non-legal tender and other worthless junk (that sounds good when you move the safe) and another that's well hidden and bolted down containing the good stuff.0 -
