Need to raise cash for home improvments..

I have a four bedroom property in Cornwall, it requires a new roof and windows. I guess around 15-20K worth of work.
I have about 35K left on the mortgage with a monthly service of £250, so plenty of equity.
I also have flat in london which is very little equity. I have a 12K loan, and 4K on 0% card.
What's the best way for me to raise the cash?

cheers in advance.

  • Ask your current mortgage company for a Further advance. this will be the easiest.

Check the rates they are offering and ask for a new deal to keep your business.

Remortgage the lot to another lender.
After all the searching life is what i make it!
