Cake Mix - £1.69 each or 2 for £1

That's exactly what happened to me!!! I've just bought a silicon cake pan and it was so easy to get the cake out - but it hadn't cooked evenly and was thinner at the edges. Not a problem though.

Although it's a good offer, I think the original £1.69 is a bit over the top ... with the cost of the added ingredients it would make the total cost of the cake in the region of £2.50. Not bad for under £1 though!

i went in to get some of these and while i was in spotted boxes of cookies in the bakery dept, 20 big cookies, 5 each of 4 varieties for £2, another bargain!

agree that 1.69 is too much but 50p each for cake mix is a steal. i bought 2 more today, grabbed the last cookie mix too. im lucky, the cake mix offer hasnt been put on the shelf so people think its still 1.69!
