Problem with abusing the system like this is that the supermarkets fight back as they cannot get paid for the money off you have received. One of my local supermarkets has taped up the coupon slots so you have to ask a SA if you want to use coupons. Similar thing happened with internet coupons - people were photocopying them so now my Tesco will not accept any net coupons.
Please think of the long term results of your actions - you may save a lot in the short term - but for sure we all lose a lot more in the long term.0 -

Some supermarkets (but not many) are actually quite happy to take other supermarkets' own product vouchers (such as Asda's ones at Tesco).
However, altering these vouchers or cutting bits off is defintely not something that should be encouraged.0 -
hi.. i used to use a lot of coupons, but they were products ones not store specific. so tescos could claim the money back .. but a week or so ago... i got told that due to a lot of vouchers going through the till that they can not claim the money back on...its now been cut back to 10 %
i never used to use other store vouchers at tescos.... but obviously some other people were... so if you are using other store's vouchers .. you could be shortening a good run on voucher useage for other people and most of all yourself......
also cutting off the name of the other supermarket, so its not spotted going through the till ..to me is a bit naughty... so no wonder they are clamping down....as the saying goes... dont bit the hand that feeds you.....please dont shout at my above comments as thats what i feel, what people ending up doing is their own business... but please just think before getting carried away....
happy shopping to all you voucherholics...:DWork to live= not live to work0
