I don't think we've got a whisk. I'll have to try to whisk them with the fork I'm mashing them with. :rotfl:

He lives at home mainly because he's been trying to build a career in computer game development. He has sold one to a major publisher so it will be coming out worldwide and he will start to get royalties...I guess if it does well he will be able to afford to move out, and he will get an advance for the next one. I don't mind anyway, no expectations other than dating.

He does know I have kids - seems unfazed so far.

He has just told me he has been on 24 dates in the last 2 years though....gulp!!

Ah well, 'tis only a bit of fun....and he IS very cute!

  • Sausages and mash are lush, gravy is WAY too watery (came out as stock). Not bad for a 1st try though.

Have you got corn flour? Make a smooth paste with a dessert spoon of Cornflour and a spot of the gravy you made then stir into gravy, bring to boil and cook until it thickens;)

Or stir a large dollop of mash into the gravy....

Sighhh...not sure if I want to go now though. He wants to meet me at the train station. I have done that a few times before and it's just nerve wracking and horrible. Really would rather not go than put myself through that ever again.

He was a bit funny when I asked about meeting somewhere different though.

    :wall:

In fact....I'm not going to go....

That was a speedy change of heart wasn't it. :o

Not as far as I know, though I've just opened the cupboard and realised, after using my housemate's, that I actually do own a colander. It's the big plastic thing I have to move whenever I want something. :rotfl: So I might well have cornflour in there somewhere, though I have no memory of getting/being given any.

Snags...!!!!!!! Why not...whats up with the train station - I was just starting to think you had found someone almost quite normal...although my OH still lived with him mum at 30 and yes she did everything for him...He is also into computers and you know what they say about men and their computers. Also he is younger...not a massive problem and better than being older. Men mature slower than women till they are about 40 then they mature three times as fast...all in my opinion...of course

ETA:could you ask him if he needs an accountant.
