Fed up of not knowing but i suppose it was pretty decent of them to phone and let me know not to expect anything so I wouldn't be hanging on all day. Says a lot for the level of respect they have for others which suggests they could be a good place to work for if I get offered the place...

Oh and the nursery place I looked at today was a no go. When I walked into the baby room it smelled of dirty nappies, several kids had dribbles and snot down their chins and it just felt all a bit grubby...

Pahh Luc, that's pants, at least it wasn't bad,bad news though. Keep those fingers crossed.

New wheels are here, have reorganised the house to fit them in - have borrowed a ramp for a couple of weeks until ours is done and have driven round the dining room banging into everything - like you do! Going to take him out for a proper test drive later.

3 loads of washing have been blown to death but have dried but my goodness it's chilly out there - that sun is deceptive!

Luc, at least it's some news, and it's better than bad news or no news.

Hmm, what do I get for dinner tomorrow/tonight (dependant on plans) Have tikka masala sauce so I might get some chicken.....or pork...I dunno.

I use turkey thigh for curries - moister than chicken breast and cheaper too:money:

Afternoon...what a flipping morning and end to the term! DD decides at 8:20 that she doesn't feel well and it hurts when she goes to toilet, in fact she can't get off the toilet as she wants to go again...dam urine infection. Mad dash around to phone school to say she is off sick, call Dr's to get appt otherwise won't get seen until mid next week, phone boss to say I need to take time off work, phone mum to see if she'll come and look after B....blimey stressful morning.

Anyway she is bright and dandy now typical! Washing blowing a hoolie on the line, got heating on as its freeeeezing outside and now I am sat with laptop trying to decide on how to decorate my bedroom...I'll make a decision soon, just that the wall paper I liked has 50% off atm...

Luc sounds like they could be a good company for the interim at least!
Pooky, bet the wheels are rather great, E will have to have some go faster stripes now ;)
I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....
