Yay well done! Thank you all!
The only problem is there isn't a stockist anywhere near us so it would have to be a full day trip just to try on a dress even if the nearest stockist has it in (which isn't likely if it's last season). Hmm, more decisions for dd.0 -
Why not google that style? 'Willow tulle A-line bridesmaid gown with gathered bodice, ribbon and flower detail at natural waist.' then you can see if there are any other dresses near by in that style and if dd likes and they suit the bridesmaids then she can always head out to get the one above, nless she finds something local that she really falls for? Hey Joho,
We found it impossible to get all 3 bm's together, one lives in Gibraltar, and the others couldn't find the same times! She decided to take the plunge and get them made in China by an ebay seller :0 They promised to match the colour as closely as they could and their feedback was good. It's taken her all this time to get the full list of measurements from the bm's so the dresses were only ordered about 10 days ago.
I'm crossing everything that when they come they're ok! We've only got 8 weeks left so if they're not looks like it's the high street!
I'll let you know, watch this space!0 -
Hope that works out - I'm sure it will. There seems to be lots of good experiences with having them made this way.
And I know what you mean about getting BMs together - I have one in Germany, one in Somerset and one in Devon. I'm in Cambridge and my dress is in Manchester and the wedding is in Rhodes! God help me!!
I will definitely be watching this space! If you have nothing constructive to say just move along.0
