Instant fair-trade coffee recommendations!

I managed to persuade people at work that we should have fair trade coffee at work and people seemed okay with that. But there is a 'secret' jar of Gold Blend in one of my colleague's drawers which gets pulled out and suggests to me I need to find a better (and yet not too expensive) coffee brand to buy.

Any suggestions?:D

    Clipper instant arabica is tasty.
It looks like gold blend and IMHO tastes as good or better.
Any instant that comes in rough clump like granules tends to taste like... bad things... but it may just be my prejudice.

Thanks, will try them. People are outwardly saying they agree but obviously don't think it tastes as good which makes me feel bad as it was my idea :)

I usually buy M&S fair trade, its one of their wise buys. Was in B&M this afternoon and they had jars of decaff Cafe direct for 99p for 100g. Not sure if they had normal coffee but just sold out, I drink decaf anyway. They also had Percol, can't remember what blend it was.
Why wouldn't anyone want to buy fairtrade? I haven't used anything else for a few years now.
  • percol arabica is lovely and i like cafe direct too
not so keen on the m&s one, i tried that last year and thought it was a wee bit bitter

Great, thanks, I have been using the Co-op one and think I need to go up a brand to their gold one or change to another brand altogether. If I can buy it in larger amounts it should offset the higher cost... :)

I actually think the TESCO own brand FT instant coffee is really good and i know other people who agree.i've tried quite a few brands and i much prefer it to M&S or cafedirect or clipper.
