Buying a suit in belfast

Im looking to buy a new suit for work and have been to River Island, Next etc and although i like the suits they are £130 which is a bit above what i can afford.

Was in Matalan (i think thats what it is off boucher road?) and they had ones for £50 but they were maybe in fashion 15 years ago.

Anyone got any ideas?

TKMaxx may be worth a go - there's a branch in Castle Court and another in Boucher Road. Ask one of the staff when they get their delivery then go the next day for a few weeks - tedious I know, but you'll get first pick.

marks and spencer suits are good quality, if you can get to junction one then you can get them very cheap. burtons are cheap but the material is quite thin and therefore not very hard wearing

There ya go....go to the local shops try on a few brand names in your size...search on ebay....save 50-90 per cent!

Bogarts in Ann Street have a sale on at the minute with some suits reduced to under £100.

Worth checking if you're in town.

I think they also have a store in Callender Street behind M&S and Next.

i was at junction 1 at the weekend looking for a suit (for cheap obviously!) were there is a good few suit shops. marks and spencer and next have outlet shops there and i tried on a great suit in marksies reduced from £165 to £80!

junction one is not all its cracked up to be

think about it

the suit that they have there thye will have had at a lower price in a main store,

but they cant sell it there, so they send it out to an outlet store

now think about it

that outlet store still has wages, rent, rates etc to pay. ... so just think how much of a bargin is it really?

Absolute rubbish Jersy. This is overstock eg got a jacket that retailed at £199 for £49, shirt £99 for £11 trousers £79.99 for $19.99
