Thanks OP, I already had a £10 voucher code that was due to expire this weekend. It would have been terribly wasteful not to use it ;). 6 white and 3 red on the way.

    Hi all,

Firstly thanks to the OP for this one - a great find!

I was due to have 9 bottles delivered today, paid a little extra on the delivery slot but it was still a good deal.

It got better though! Tesco's van broke down so they couldn't deliver.
This was after they told us it'd be an hour late due to staffing problems earlier in the day.

The man at their call centre offered £20 in vouchers as an apology as it was a first shop, AND refunded the £5.50 delivery charge.

Annoyingly though they were out of stock with 2 of the bottles and substituted a wine that was not on the 3 for 10 - so I'm still arguing about being overcharged for a substitution - but even if that doesn't work out I've essentially just got 9 bottles for about £3.

Time to order some more with the vouchers I think ;)

And for any of you in the wine club then you would probably have an extra code starting GR---,use that as well for even more discount,i didn't bother with the online instead i fetched 3 lindemans and used 2 vouchers for £1.25 off £8 x 2 hence 3 bottles for £7.50....Must start to drink the wine now though..the reservoir is overflowing..thanks Mr T

If they are already out of stock what do you think the chances are of later orders, like mine which is due to be delivered tuesday, being in stock? I requested no substitutes :-( !!

    many thanks op.
the extra 'wine discount' for £2.70 on your receipt - is that applied automatically, pls? can't see details of how that works on tesco.
  • The £2.70 is 5% of £53.91, as you get 5% discount when you order more than 6 bottles of wine ;)
