SOA and Overtime

Hello
When I did our SOA I referred o my husbands last three wage slips where he had got exactly the same amount take home every month, I forgot this included OT. We have our interview next week should we just explain and give him my Husbands flat rate and him not do OT anymore (I would prefer him not to do OT because he works enough during the week).
I am a bit worried about this.
Any advice please???????????????
Thanx

Hi Angie, Not too sure about this. But I would just say he occasionally does overtime but not too often, just be honest with the OR. As they will know by his future pay slips being sent x"If wishes were horses, then beggars would ride"

yes,you need to give them the amount without OT,but remember that if OT is done a fair bit the OR will want to know about it,and you will be sending your wage slips in if you get a nil tax code.0

I think he is just going to stop doing OT he has done it for the past two years to pay debts and he's just tired now.
Bless him0 -
Angie, when we did our soa we did it on hubbies flat rate as he hadn't been able to get overtime for months, and then of course the snow came and he got loads and loads of overtime.
So the wage slips we sent in had the OT on it, the OR asked dh why his wage slips were higher and he told him that it was due to the winter shifts, bad weather and working over christmas and new year and so on, and it was fine.
He understood that sometimes dh gets overtime, and sometimes he doesn't, just explain it to the OR, I am sure they will understand x0 -
Is this the same for target related bonuses. I earn a set wage with bonuses for hitting targets. Ive done my soa on teh basis of my standard wage but my last 3 wage slips are likely to show a bonus earned. Problem is these bonuses arnt gauranteed and whilst I obviously have no issue with OR taking his share of the bonus I wouldnt want him taking more if I didnt hit target in a given month !!0

The OR will only take money from any extra you earn, if you dont get extra one month just tell them. In our case hubby has earned some extra each month and the OR has done nothing about it at all, we are keeping it though just in case.
As others have said just let the OR know it is not regular and they will go from there[STRIKE]Shazbo[/STRIKE]
Sealed pot number 818- target = anything will do
