Black plastic, the bane of my existence!

Has anyone found a way that will keep black plastic dust free for more than a couple of hours?
Our TV and several other items are made with that black plastic, you know the glossy stuff . . . I can dust at 1pm and by that time the next day it looks as if I haven't touched it in ages  Is there anything that helps to repel the dust that won't harm the finish?
I am not extremely fussy about my home, but this is getting on my last nerve! And I'm certain that has nothing to do with my age or the last hot flush :rotfl:

Wipe it over with a tumbe drier sheet. It's supposed to cut down on the static that attracts the dust. HTH0

Thanks, if it even works for a few days I'll be ever so happy :rotfl:0

If you don't have a tumble dryer sheet a drop of fabric condtioner on a duster also works wonders!0

This is probably bad, but my first thought was that if you just move them out of direct sunlight you might not notice as much! :rotfl: Because my TV is in a dark corner I often go weeks without noticing it needs a dust!0

suggestions.
Too many windows in the lounge . . . not a dark corner to be had :rotfl:0 -
given I use neither fabric conditioner or tumble drier sheets any other tips please?People seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.

you do know you are supposed to dust daily?
think i read somewhere it takes about 24hrs for dust to settle, so you are supposed to dust every day, as that way it flips it back into the air, and your surfaces look dust free
other than that, the best thing to do is not buy black plastic, stick with silver as it doesnt show the dust, or fingerprints so much
