We rent our house. It is only me going bankrupt. Landlord is not one of my creditors.
Both signed rental rental agreement but never received a copy from letting agent. Now paying landlord direct. We did get a letter saying things stay the same has the original contract we signed. This was for minimum of 1 yr. been here for 20 months now. Only a standerd contract 2 pages including list of contents.
Would the OR contact the landlord if only one of us is going bankrupt and will he want any other paperwork apart from what we have. We can show what rent we pay each month from our bank statements.

You need to check with your agent and landlord to see if your bankruptcy would affect the tenancy. Sometimes they have clauses saying they don't allow bankrupts in which case they can evict you.Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043
