As Ltsb and Halifax are the same group, they have;)
Whether they have informed you the right to offset is now group wide is another matter, but by the track record, doubt they would let a small detail like that worry themThats it, i am done, Blind-as-a-Bat has left the forum, for good this time, there is no way I can recover this account, as the password was random, and not recorded, and the email used no longer exits, nor can be recovered to recover the account, goodbye all ………….

Not 100% if you can do this but anyway I throw it in, if you have a 02 payg or contact ( if not get a free sim) apply for thier cash card and have the benefits paid onto this. you can access your money from any bank machines / most shops, but has I found out you can not pay banks/dca with it.
I sure someone will correct me if this can not be done with benefits.0 -
I can't remember any specific examples of them grabbing cash across the group of companies, but as BAAB says, I'm not sure I would trust them on that.
Martin also makes some (sort of) reassuring statements in this:
Setting Off Rules: DON'T bank where you’ve got debts
But again, not sure I would quite risk my money based on that.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Karend1980 are you sure that £200 daily limit is not just on the cash machine. I think if you pop into branch you may be able to take out much more. I would at least give that a try if nothing other than give yourself some peace of mind.:cheesy: K2nga :cheesy:

For now at least the Halifax and the Lloyds systems are absolutely seperate. So whilst in the long term it is probably a good idea to move it, in the short term I would move it when you can but don't get stressed about it
