A HOUSE FOR A FIVER (£5)

I stumbled across this URL from a magazine called "Web User" and remember that there was one for a pound and it stirred interest.

http://www.winahouseforafiver.co.uk/ The entries have to be submitted by 14th August 2004, so those interested need to move quickly.

I thought the thread concluded that it was a bit of a con?

The house for a pound website has concluded and a winner (cash) has been found, unlike the original house for a pound website it's very fast and clear about the outcomes of entry.

If you click The House tab, the progress bar indicates that they have only reached 21% of the required amount....so approx 58000 raised

To be honest what is stopping them doing a raffle every month.....even if they are honest and give the winner the lions share of the winnings then its still a nice little earner.....

Also, no relatives, etc can enter...nothing to stop a friend from winning.....how are we going to know the winner is a genuine winner....I presume we have to trust that the solicitor is genuine
