Personlaised teddy bears- any ideas ?

I was looking at getting my little bridesmaid a personalised teddy bear with someting like Best bridesmaid etc wrote on it. To buy they are quite dear.
Im also wanting one for my neice maybe with the date of our wedding and her name on it .

In MSE style I have some brand new lovely bears I bought when a card shop was closing down and would love to use these.However to get a jumper or t-shirt made seems to cost a fortune.Also thhe t-shirts look quite cheap.

Can anyone suggest a way or personalising them, preferably with writing - maybe badges, embrodery or any other way that is budget conscious.

Have you looked at ebay? They can personalise with names etc. p+p will be reduced if you are wanting to buy two. Here's some. Ebay

You could ask for the Teddy logo not to be printed on, and you could add little fabric rosebuds in the bridesmaids dress colours to make it look prettier.

If you had a plain t shirt, you could cross stitch your chosen design and dates and names to your exact requirements. You need to use waste canvas, and purchase the threads, and with the time it takes, it might be cheaper and easier to buy them pre-made and have none of the hassle.
