I have accidentally gone and deleted Outlook from my PC. Have been doing some house keeping, and in the process of clearing out MS office as I only had a trial version, I have lost Outlook too.
Is there anyway I can restore with all the settings, or is it gone for good?
PS. Just trying a system restore, fingers crossed!

The system restore did not work!
However, I have found a freebie, Office 2010 beta here, https://www.microsoft.com/office/2010/en/default.aspxDon't lie, thieve, cheat or steal. The Government do not like the competition.

It's not ~exactly~ a freebie. Hopefully you're aware that it will expire and stop working in October this year. You will then either have to pay for a full Office 2010 licence or find an alternative again.
Before taking that route, it may be worth exploring some of the excellent Open Source alternatives such as Thunderbird which - if you add the Lightning calendar add-on - look very similar to Outlook. Some of these alternatives have import utilities which allow you to import your existing Outlook mailbag and mailbox settings.0 -

Yeah use TB but you will probably have to use the office beta to get the original stuff back first to import .... maybe I am wrong .. but get TB in any case and go forward with it, I think it is the bees dangly bits4.8kWp 12x400W Longhi 9.6 kWh battery Giv-hy 5.0 Inverter, WSW facing Essex . You may be right, but I vaguely remember doing almost exactly what the OP has done myself, and IIRC the MS Office uninstall process leaves the mailbag file intact and does not delete it.
However, from what I can recall from around 3 years ago, I don't ~think~ there is a direct import from Outlook to TB. But it would be worth looking at the TB ImportExportTools add-in to see if that now has anything that will help.0 -

TB can import Outlook Express/Outlook/Eudora/LDIF+text etc, however tried on my PC which has MSO 2010 beta and says can't find address book, but I don't use Outlaw so I wonder if it is looking in the registry ? dunno any others might know but let OP and try first4.8kWp 12x400W Longhi 9.6 kWh battery Giv-hy 5.0 Inverter, WSW facing Essex .
