found some in a small chemist 50p for 50g seemed ok as I needed less than 25g to make one bath bomb. It was yummy when I used it last night, I put red rose petals in and red coloring as well as essential oils. Will definitley make more for presents.

I also made lip gloss from vaseline/colour/essential ols and is scrummy especially kept in the fridge!

If you can't get citric acid, cream of tartar also produces an acceptable fizz when mixed with bicarb and water.

I am advised by my local branch of Boots that citric acid originally could only be bought through chemists. However, the government has now re-licensed it to be sold by supermarkets. I was told you should find it on their home baking shelves.
Having said that, neither of my local supermarkets were in fact stocking it.
I eventually found some at a branch of Lloyds Pharmacy, but I tried two others in the same chain before getting lucky!
Hope this is of some help.
