Keep the letter if they continue to hassle you then speak to your official receiver they'll have a "quiet" word in their ears!We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0

It's really hard Karen, when I decided that I couldn't keep my head above water... and stopped paying - I got inundated with letters and calls. I wrote to everyone (and ended up having to finally speak to all of them) and offered then small payments (i did this all through the National Debt line - they have all the letter templates there) and finally all the calls stopped but I am obv making some payment to them.
I ignore all calls now (esp when they can't even be bothered to leave a message or call from a number you can call them back on)
It was so worrying but after reading many many threads on here of how to handle them - I can now cope with it.
Although as you might as read I am getting a visit from the Halifax Easter Bunny on Good Friday - so watch this space!!

Have you made an apt at your local court to file for BR? If so, and if you happen to speak with anyone from LTSB then inform them of your intentions and give them the date - they may well ask if you can make any form of payment to them (I think it's their last ditch attempte to get some money from you) - I wouldn't pay them a penny once your appointment is in place.0

Hi ya,
What I did was booked my court date, then when people called I took the call & told them I was going to see the CAB money manager on that date & that I would be in touch after. If they know you are seeking help they will generally leave you alone.
You can tell them you're going BR but some co's will put more pressure on to get payment.

Ignore them then.
Reply when you have something to send/tell them. Like a copy of your BR order.
