does the OR look through all your old bank stateme

if you get a basic account before you go br does the OR still get access to your old bank accounts and question everything? im really worried they want to know everything we have spent on and wont be able to remember.

Mitziw, the OR will request back copies of your statements yes, the norm seems to be around 1 years worth.

Ours didn't question any of the spending, I think they only ask if there is a large amount on there.

I opened my cashminder account 3 months before BR but the OR said he was only interested in my current accounts not the basic one. I was asked to supply 12 months statements for the current accounts but nothing for the basic account.

    Hi,

Went Br on 22nd March and have OR phone interview on the 7th. The OR has written to say they want copies of all bank account statements going back 12 months and also credit card statements for the same period and copies of loan documents.

Have probably only kept half the statements over the year and a lot of the companies i owe to have been awkward about supplying copies.

Have come to the conclusion that its too tiring to keep worrying about it and what will be will be!.

Hope everything goes ok for you :)

The OR can easily get any copies of any statements they need, if you have not got them.:)

the answer is that the OR will look through as much as they think is necessary, sometimes this is none sometimes it it is several accounts for several years
