Business Rates - revaluation Appeal

Hi there,
I curently do the accounts for my company which means dealing with Business Rates.
I am quite alert when it comes to larger bills or change in pricing, so when I recieved our business rates I noticed we had gone from paying £2013 a month at a rateable value of 41500 to this year (starting April 2010) £2207 at a rateable value of £2207.
I have instantly read up on this and rang Ealing Council and the VOA - not very helpful.
Anyway reading through the leaflets that were sent along with our rates it stated the reason for our levied increase was partly due to the "cross rail" project.
I just feel for such a small company this is a rather big increase, esp in a 5 year gap. I am looking to appeal this but I am not sure how to go about it? Has anyone appealed this before? If so can you give me a little advice?
Thanks
Chantelle

Could you confirm the new Rateable Value, as you've repeated the monthly payment. If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0
