Hi,
I'm remortgaging my flat and the lender used Enact. I got taxt message from them on 22/03/10 saying they have all the paperwork I returned and will let me know the completion date.
I called them on 29/03/10 and they said they are awaiting redemption statement from my current lender.
Does anyone know how long they take normally to get this completed? Do I need to chase them up regularly? I'm a bit ancious:D
Thanks.

Hi have just remortaged and used Enact they have been fantastic and really quick done in two weeks. I susspect it's it's your current lender dragging their feet as I asked Skipton for a redemption statement last week and still not arrived. My remortgage has gone through anyway today without receiveing it personally so I guess Enact got a copy at some point - I didn't have to chase them once so I'd give enact a call they are very nice and helpful and will let you know what is happening.0
