That Betts website looks really good!!

We shopped around - couldnt believe how much cheaper they were than other places. I cant take credit for finding them - someone from here recommended them!
(Have a look at a ring, then log in to see the price difference - its atonishing!!)

Got ours from H Samuels, purely based on the fact they had the style we liked the most in there and the most interested staff in actually wanting to serve you. White gold bands with a pattern etched in them - which does catch the light quite a lot and make things look all twinkly. Didn't want to go to them, were intending going elsewhere but on the day they had the rings we both liked (even Mr Twisty-Knickers who complained endlessly about how odd they all felt).

Love that description - I have one of those too!! We've been trying a few times now, and each time he says it feels easier....I just reply he will have to get used to it or I will tattoo it on like our gasman!

got mine from HSamuels - i think in total was about £300 for both rings

I am definitely staying clear from this shop in future!! We got my engagement ring from there, and had to return the original ring 3 times because it had snapped where they had re-sized it. After the third time we cashed in the insurance we'd bought in order to swap it for an entirely different ring as the original one was a bit thin and I thought maybe it was because of my big fingers, so we got something a bit more substantial. All was going well up until about a month ago, and it snapped AGAIN! in exactly the same place as the original. Its been away for the past 4 weeks at quality control to try and figure out what's going wrong. I know its their shoddy workmanship on re-sizing it but they aren't going to admit it.. went back in yesterday and surprise surprise it came back with the verdict there was nothing wrong with it.

I am doing absolutely nothing out of the ordinary with the ring, just wearing it. I take it off when I'm cleaning or wear gloves so chemicals don't touch it. They are refusing to give us a refund and that's all I want, just our money back and we can go somewhere more reputable.. having to write to head office to take it higher. I'm so angry, we've been engaged for a year and a half and I've been able to wear my ring for about 2 months all in all!

We got ours from a company that come and visit you with hundreds to choose from, called Bliss Rings - but they're only in the south east. I got a really fancy 18ct gold shaped ring with diamonds and OH got a tungsten ring, came to £500 together with freebies for Best Man and Bridesmaids. If you wanted something plainer would be a lot cheaper but I wanted something that would go with my strangely shaped engagement ring.
