we use Poundland batteries too, expect for in our 'good' watches. ~Though to be fair they haven;t done any harm to our everyday type watches, so don't know why we don't use them for all 'grades' of watch.

My watch back popped off pretty easily. I discovered (after the event unfortunately) that refitting it required a great deal of force. The proper tools seem to include plastic rings (of varying sizes) that you place on the glass side of the watch so that the force is taken by the case of the watch rather than the glass itself.

That bit of kit is especially handy with watches that have a 'domed' glass.

A Casio that needs a new Battery?

I was thinking that myself - had this one for several years and it shows no sign of dying on me!

I took the battery out of the old "Storm" watch, and can't read the battery details they are tiny.

So tried the £1 shop batteries in the watch anyway but the batteries in this pack are thicker than the original one that I took out.

Need to invest in a magnifying glass!

Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..
