RTB mortgage with CCJs

Hi, I've just put in the first form to my local council expressing an interest in RTB. I thought it would be a good idea to check credit files and have just discovered my husband has 2 CCJs one we know nothing about (but will find out) and the other I thought had been paid quick enough not to be showing (will also be looking into this). The house is roughly worth 70k and I will get 24k discount.
I'm not quite sure what to do now. My hubby earns 35k and I earn 19k. Is there any chance of us getting a joint mortgage? or would I be better trying to change my application into my sole name (is this possible now I've already put 1st application in?) ? and would I get a mortgage with just my income?
Sorry so many questions, thanks for your help.

The recent CCJ's will present a big problem....The only way to have a CCJ removed from the Register of County Court Judgments is to prove it was listed in error or there very good reason why the judgement should be set aside.
For to apply for a joint mortgage based on your salary the lender will take into consideration 2 sets of living expenses which will reduce your income considerably, so this would not be an option...
The RTB Offer Notice will be issued in joint names so the mortgage would have to reflect this........0
