    I went for the smaller amount.

    I bought the shower gels on bogog

    they were £1.40 each so i got

    4 = £5.96
    4 = free

    but sub-total came to £11.92.

    i handed in 1 £2.50 voucer making it. £3.46 and i handed in 5, 50 point vouchers.
    The young lad didn't bat an eyelid.

    Then i went to self scan and did the same.

    Only scanned 3 of my vouchers for 50 extra points not even money of, and i needed approval. From a jobsworth.

    So i think i will stick with just getting a fivers worth of stuff on bogof.

    thanks for this whoever found it.

    Massive thankyou to the OP. :j :j

    I've just got back from Tesco Prestwich and bought the following

    2x Face wipes (£1.49 each - 2 for £2)
    2x St Ives facial scrub (£3.99 - BOGOF)
    2x Shampoo (£1.84 - BOGOF)
    4x Imperial Leather Shower gel (£1.48 - BOGOF)
    2x Lynx Shower Gel (£1.88 - BOGOF)

    Sub total = £24.32 (but only cost £12.67 after deals)

    Used 10 x 50points, 5 x £1 and 2 x £2.50

    Grand total =£2.67 + 500 points (£20 in deals) :beer: :beer: :beer:

    I went to one of the tills and gave in 17 vouchers for this, I chose the doziest looking cashier :rotfl: and he took the lot. I did mention before he scanned them that I had all these vouchers but I was buying all the products and he out them to one side and scanned them all at the end.

    I'm going back tomorrow to buy more (not greed, it helps me for C*****mas) as the IL shower gels are really good.

    PLUS ... I have a few of these leaflets over so first 10 to PM me their name and address can have a leaflet each. I will send them all first class tomorrow, but please only ask for one if you are willing to use it. (If you use self scan, just scan the same voucher)

    MSE has saved me a fortune over the years, now I can give something back!!
    :T Hi i have sent you a pm.
    Hope im 1 of the 10

    eek ... never thought of it as stealing ... just something for nothing :rotfl:

    But you're right, it is abusing it and we don't want to ruin it before the end of the promotion.:confused:

    BTW, only a couple of leaflets left now, so PM quick if you want one (I have replied to those so far who are having one) Thanks

    if you pop your voucher into the box when youve scanned it then youve just used what youre entitled tio, but if you scan teh same voucher again and again youve taken more that what youre entiltled to, the store will lose out coz they wont have enuff vouchers to claim off head office, so the store has been stolen from, (e.g. if you scan a £2.50 voucher twioce but onyl have one voucher, the store can only claim back £2.50 so has had £2.50 robbed off them). theyre very vigilant about it coz peopel have been caught doign this and been caught scannign a voucher then putting a plain piece of paper in the box, they will call the police, ive seen a fella threatened with it, until he agreed to go and not come back again.

    there are many ways to get something for nothing legally, such as this loophole and boots loopholes, to get freebies whilst still playign by tegh rules, but in my opinion (and that of sa's and security in tescoes) scanning one voucher several times isnt sticking to teh rules.

    i have a few of these vouchers im goign to use over teh next few weeks, and get £10 worth toiletries with each 'big shop' i think, but thansk very much for teh offer anyway.

    The self scan in my local store is manned by a real stickler - she once practically dismantled the voucher machine to check I'd used only vouchers where I'd purchased the items (which I had!) so I wouldn't even contemplate trying to scan something more than once. Strange really, because if you go to a real person they are quite happy to take anything!

    Unfortunately the leaflets were being guarded by a SA and she would only give me one, but I did have some spare 50 pointers in my purse from a previous stash.

    Got something like 2 shampoos (BOGOF) 2 Impulse (BOGOF) and 2 Dove shower gels (BOGOF) and used £2.50 off plus 3 50 point vouchers (being all I had, but the SA would have probably took more - he didn't bat an eyelid!). About £12 before discount and £6 after, less £2.50 making appox £3.50 ish plus 150 points.

    Also picked up some clothing (using their £6 off £20 voucher), and a few groceries and because the total spend was then over £40 (before all the vouchers) used some manufacturers coupons to get a further £4 off.

    Before discount was £50+, after BOGOFs was about £46, after vouchers only £33 ish!!

    Thanks for the pointers!
