Speculation letters - are they worth it?

2 of my current staff were hired based on a spec letter. It helped that their timing was impeccable, I landed a contract which required a staff member with a specific skill set and the day after a spec letter arrived for a chap with the exact skill set required.
:money: Thank you for letting me know this! It's actually quite heartening to hear that some folks do take notice of the spec letters. I dont for one minute expect to hear anything back from the ones we're about to send, but it is good to know that maybe, just maybe, it might work!I wish I was a glow worm, a glow worm's never glum
Cos how can you be gloomy, when the sun shines out your bum?

Totally agree with Woody01 - good luck and keep going - something will turn up eventually - I secured both of my previous roles via speculative enquiries0
