We used these guys when we got ours done a few years back, it was a personal recommendation from a friend whose husband was a joiner, he said they'd done a great job for him twice. After we got ours done, they did my s-i-l in Edinburgh too, so they seem happy to travel. They are based in Fife, when we got ours done their wondows were supplied by the factory that made AC Yule's windows, don't know if that's still the case.

They did a great job, were very tidy, and gave us a pretty good idea of the price before going back and working it out accurately using the exact window sizes.

We did get quotes from other companies, one wanted twice as much and were going to leave the original painted inside sills in place to save us money!
We have hardwood picture frame style surrounds, and they still look as good a few years later.

They don't varnish them for you, though, you'll need to do that yourself.;)

    hope that helps.
