Childrens accounts in my name..

Options
I opened 3 childrens saving accounts at barcleys when the kids got that goverment payment thingy.

Anyway thay are childrens accounts but in my name r.e childs name.

Will these stay open for the kids? They have only got £10 each in them as couldnt save up. But wondered if we got to keep them?

I didn't declare my daughters Child Fund thingy that they government gave her as a baby - cos simply it is hers, although with my name on too. I honestly didn't think about it at the time, and she can't access it until she is 18 anyway.

Should I have declared it - its got about £200 in it after losing ££££ in the last 2 yrs.

Not trust funds like these. They are not your's and are not actually in your name; they are in the childrens names and they are the sole beneficiaries.

    So don't worry about them.

I didn't mention my boys accounts either, as they are there accounts, and not mine.
