My lunchtime trip to Sainsburys for squash and sandwhich filling turned into an £11 spend, but i got BOGOF chicken breasts and chicken goujons! Have enough for 6 dinners there AND lunches for me and the OH (have salad and veg at home). Planning curry, lemon chicken and a chicken/veg pasta with those fillet bits! Yay!

Just under £30 in Morrisons, and £24 on Diesel. Hopefully that's it for the week now. Have just pegged all my washing out, hoping to dry it for free, and it's p--ing down now  I suspect moneysaving is a lot easier in warm weather, but we'll see...

  • lunch turned into a bigger spend

    £16.11 - filled car up
    £0.36 - pitta bread
£2.11 - turkey slices - BOGOF (will help with lunch for the week)

Then spent £22 on a new ruc sac, 3 new squash balls, and a drinking bottle in the sports shop next door.......Ok I needed the ruc sac as my old one is ripped beyond repair, the squash balls were £2.99 instead of £9.99 and will get used, and the water bottle will stop me buying a drinking size bottle of Vitel prior to the game. So maybe it was a spend to save, and the car is full of gas so should be a cheap week....i hope

Yeah, thought I was having a no spender as well until I remembered £35 on petrol and still have to pick the kitten up from the vet. She was getting dressed and it will cost £45.
Not bad, gone from nothing to £80 without even thinking about it.

    £2.01 on Ebay postage
    20p on parking
    24p on loaf of bread
    44p on deodorant

    Total £2.89

On the plus side, Mr A got paid for a job yesterday, so I have been able to give back £300 out of the grand we borrowed from the in-laws, and still put £500 in the bank for wages.
My sig's too large, apparently - so apologies to whoever's space I was taking up.:lipsrseal
  • I have spent £8.63 for a 2 for 1 meal (BOGOF hehe love that definition!) for myself and my friends lunch at Lloyds Bar.

We take it in turns once a fortnight and gives me something to look forward to after my usual home-made sandwiches.
