I am new to this so please bare with me! If i declare my self bankrupt will i loose my house?

It depends how much equity you have in the house. How much is your outstanding mortgage and any secured loans? How much is the house worth? Is your mortgage payment and any secure loan payment roughly equivalent to rental properties in the area?
