Cheapest 42" LCD TV with Full HD?

We want to buy a 42" lcd tv with full hd..but we want it cheap!lol Where is doing the best deals?

If it's simply down to price you should buy the best, decent screen you can afford, size is not everything when it comes to LCDs and you will find yoruself quickly disappointed if you skimp just for the size of the screen, much better to get a good 37" screen than an average 42".

I'd strongly advise to get out and look at few, that have hopefully been set up correctly, at the major stores - Currys, Comet, John Lewis etc, and then when you decide on what you like start trawling the internet for the best price. As a previous poster mentioned, don't just go for the cheapest as you'll likely be disappointed.

richer sounds for good advice and good deals on new and discontinued lines. Also check out the avforums.com for advice and recomendations
the major stores all have there panels set up bright or vivid to catch your eye. there is even a shop mode on my sony which is way to bright.

as posted by others dont go for the cheepest and get the right size screen for the viewing distance if you want to enjoy hd ie 37" has a vewig distance of 3-4m. your eyes wont beable to see the detail from a certain distance.
