BB, you didn't mention Poole was built on hills!!!! _exhausted__by_Link3Kokiri.gif

ermmmmmmmmm..........yep :rotfl:I'm sitting nearly at the top of one at the moment. I'm guessing you've just walked up Fernside Rd ;)

    I need to go AAAAAARGGGGGGGGH.

In my afternoon job there is someone who shares the office. She used to be here 1 or 2 days a week and then at another office the other 3 or 4. Whenever she is here she is always on her mobile or chatting on the phone or hiding in a little room on the mobile saying she is having a chat with a vulnerable client. She is from today at my office 5 days a week  She does NOTHING and I mean NOTHING all afternoon when I am upstairs. She has made 1 work related call today (she has 300 people to call to try to get them onto some specific courses) and spent the rest of the afternoon chatting to her kids, a friend, someone at the other office and then our manager re-telling the gossip she got from the other office. It is going to really get to me. She is also the kind of person who you just never quite know what to believe what comes out of her mouth. When it comes to justifying why she hasn't been successful she can really talk the talk and will say they were ill/moved/drunk/not mentally fit enough (she deals with hard to reach people but the few she has spoken to don't remember her because it is 3 years since she last had contact even though she says she meets them regularly!!)

I need to de-stress............any suggestions......it may have to involve large amounts of Galaxy I have in my bag...;)

Still flippin waiting! So why is it that a Commercial Company will answer a call within 5 rings?

They don't in my experience. "All of our operatives are busy. Your call *is* important to us. Dzz ddz ddzzz dzzz (some crappy music played on a Rolf Harris Stylophone)"

Not unless you ring the sales line, then they answer before you start dialling...

BB, if it's effecting your work, do you feel you can speak to someone higher up?

I'm back from Mr T's. They introduced a guy in a chicken outfit to some kids who promptly burst into tears terrified. I'm evil enough that I thought it was funny...
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

He's trouble is that one, I've got my eye on him!

I have just returned from the vet's with Maureen the poorly puss cat :(
She was repeatedly trying to poo but nothing was coming out (apologies) apart from a few drops of blood.
Vet says there's nothing in there but her bowel is probably inflamed which is giving her the sensation of needing to thrutch and the squeezing is causing further inflammation.
    ...So, £67 quid later *faints*

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

well, it's not permanent (fingers crossed!), the project she was on should finish tomorrow but has been extended by 12 weeks. She is leading people to believe she has personally secured the funding (bollox) and that with a bit of 'eyelash fluttering' she can get 10k more (bollox). Her manager is also my afternoon manager and knows that she is a complete gossip but I'm not sure he knows how much of a chatterbox she is! I'll have to let it go, but it's setting my teeth on edge a bit if i'm honest. I liked my little office on my own in the afternoons! ;):rotfl:
