Ballpoint Pen on New Top

Please help me - One of my two little darlings has just drawn on daddy's brand new football shirt. Understandably Daddy is not too impressed.

Can anyone help me with some tips on what i can do to remove the stain....

    I've always used methylated spirit with great success. But I think the commercial stain removers are good, too. Think I remember reading hairspray gets it out, but don't quote me!! Never use it so can't even try it on an old rag for you!

    If hairspray does not do the trick, Stain Devils do a special stain remover for ballpoint pen.

    I think someone suggested dabbing the stain with milk- but not sure about this.
