If they contact you again, make sure you point out that the debt is now in dispute, and any attempt to collect the money before production of evidence of the debt, inlcuding but not limited to phonecalls, unauthorised visits and written requests for money, will be considered harassment.
They have to prove you owe the money before they can say another word to you. If they fail to do so in the time frames allowed by law, ask in writing for written confirmation that they have removed your name from the debt and that it will not be sold on with your details as it is not your debt. Get it in writing and keep it. The likelihood is they will sell it on anyway, so written proof from them will make the next one much easier to deal with.
