Can anyone suggest and competent and reliable (!) plumber in Edinburgh? I've been hoping to find one in the local freebie paper, but since it's not appeared through the letterbox in the last fortnight, I thought I'd try here!

depending on the job - you can do them yourself. for a plumber for a big job though - try https://www.yell.com as they have the good ones (just watch out for hte cowboys) - go to a good reliable firm and google them up for reviews - check them out.Never do things tomorow when you can do them today.0

you could try a guy called john rafferty he ownes metrorod in edinburgh mainly deals with drainage but does undertake some plumbing work.
