  • I will definitely opt out, pension history to date
always paid in to employers scheme
1st employers worth about £270 per year
2nd employers, worked for 10 years for this company, pension went bust sent me a cheque last year for £6000 which I had paid tax at 40% on and had to claim back, took 6 months to get my money back.
3rd employer worth £48 per year
4th employer worth £124 per year.
Present employer offered private scheme last year, I would pay in around £75, employer would pay £60 and in ten years when I retire I would get £1000 per year but no guarantees.
Sorry guys my stash is under the bed, pensions are useless.
