restaurant in Kenilworth, Warwickshire?

Can anyone recommend somewhere?

My partner and I are staying this Friday and Saturday night, we're meeting my sister there on Friday evening and are looking for somewhere nice to eat?

As a recent Kenilworth-resident I would suggest it depends what sort of food you fancy. Indian - best is the Sunam up by the clock tower; Chinese - The Jade, again by the clock; Italian - La Cucina on the main road (Warwick Road); as for a decent pub for food you could try the Green Man (on Warwick Road again) or The Queen and Castle which is a Beefeater but it's next to Kenilworth Castle so its in a pretty location.

As for moneysaving, the Sunam will be the cheapest, but it depends where you're staying. Not that anything's more than a 15-20 minute walk from town in Kenilworth though!

I would second The Jade - brilliant chinese restaurant. It is just by the clock tower on the main street. Have a great weekend :beer:

Simply Simpsons is a really nice restuarant. I've been there a few times and really enjoyed it.
I ate at the Queen and Castle beefeater this week and it was ok. Quite expensive for what u get. I have 14oz sirlon with chips and even though the steak was good, the chips had a really obvious frozen taste.
If u wanted to get out of Kenilworth, Leamington Spa (about 10mins in car) has lots of really nice restuarants including Ask, Zizzi and the Regent Hotel.
