Hello callywally, yes pay in cash. They tend not to take cheques for obvious reasons I suppose. x

    Hi callywally

Cash is the accepted method at the court. Cheques are not accepted.

Yep, it's firmly a cash transaction, taking a cheque or card payment from a person on the verge of bankruptcy is not good business practise...

When i had to pay fees, a guy in front of me asked the clerk if he could pay by cheque as a joke - suffice to say, you don't crack jokes to the clerk! He was given very brisk instructions to sit down and correct/amend his form where he'd either forgotten to complete them or done them incorrectly. I mooched up next, gave her a grin and a pile of cash and she corrected my errors/ommissions whilst i waited.

Thanks very much, I thought that would be the case but needed to find out for sure.

    hi yes cash.

You would be suprised how amny people have tyed to pay by card or cheque.

Some courts will take these payments ie from friends or relatives and cleared beforehand.

    Best of luck sizzler:j
